Welcome to Gateway School.

We are a warm, family-feel community where every child is celebrated for their individuality and known to all. Our carefully crafted curriculum and broader opportunities are designed to enable your child to reach their potential and leave Gateway School, at the end of Year 6, having successfully gained entry to the right senior school for their continued education. We are proud that since 2021, 88% - 94% of our children have accepted offers to selective Grammar and Independent Schools, often being awarded scholarships. Our children leave us as competent and confident individuals, with a secure sense of who they are and are well-equipped to take on their next challenges.

Our children, from the very youngest to the oldest, benefit from the contributions of our committed and highly skilled staff, who encourage them to challenge and build resilience whilst feeling safe, cared for and supported. We recognise the importance of character development and provide opportunities for this within the curriculum alongside the promotion of curiosity, flexibility, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.
