Q. What is included in the school fees?A. Our fees include text books and materials, lunches, day trips and overnight UK trips, and Personal Accident Insurance. Fees are due on or before the first day of term. Before and after school clubs and care are included in the fees for children in Year 2 to Year 6 inclusive. For Reception and Year 1 the fee structure is as follows:
Reception and Year 1 all-inclusive fee: £3,620 per term
Reception and Year 1: £3,000 with additional charges for wraparound care (if required):
Club or Junior Activity from 3.30pm – 4.30pm: £58 per day per term
- Care from 4.30 – 5.30pm: £76 per day per term
- Late Care – 5.30 – 6pm: £38 per day per term
Optional extras include Breakfast Club (£3.25 per session), peripatetic music lessons, the Year 6 French trip. Fees for learning support are determined by individual needs.
Q. Can I use childcare vouchers towards the school fees?A. Yes. Childcare vouchers obtained through salary sacrifice schemes can be used towards the school fees. From Reception to Year 6, parents can pay a maximum of £972 per term (or £243 per month), per child using childcare vouchers. For children in the Early Years Unit, there is no limit to the amount paid using childcare vouchers. For more information, please contact our Bursar, Emma Bantock, on 01494 867802.
Q. What afterschool clubs do you offer?A. Our after school club provision is extensive and includes the following activities:
Art, ball skills, basketball, chess, choir, construction & Lego, computer, cookery, craft, cross country, drama, eco club, first aid, football, gardening, guitar, craft, jigsaws, judo, music, netball, ballet, recorder, rock band, rugby, sewing, science, sports, technology, touch typing, verse speaking, violin, and Warhammer.
Q. What senior schools does Gateway feed?A. In the last four years over 70% of leavers have gained entry to grammar schools and children have won academic, music and sporting scholarships to Wycombe Abbey, Claires Court, Thorpe House, Berkhamsted, Merchant Taylors’ and Royal Masonic Schools.
