Year 6 House Cross Country - Wednesday 28th September 2016

Thirty-six Year 6 children competed over a tough 1800m course in nearby farmland. The top 9 runners from each House scored points. There were some excellent performances throughout the field.

Year 5 House Cross Country - Friday 30 September 2016

Forty-nine Year 5 children competed over the same course and distance as the year 6. Forty-eight (12 X 4) children scored points towards the totals. Conditions were mild and ideal for running. For many of the children, this is the furthest and most challenging course that they have had to run to date. All the children completed the course.

Forty-six Year 4 children competed over a shorter course (1200m). Forty-four (11 X 4) children scored points for their House.

There were some close and exciting finishes, especially in the girls’ race.

Year 3 House Cross Country - Monday 26 September 2016

Forty-nine children completed the Y3 course run over a 1200m flat, grassy countryside. Forty-eight (12 x 4) children scored points for their House. This course proved challenging for many but everyone gave it their best shot and some energy to run it again!
