Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Update

School Closure

On Wednesday 18 March, the UK Government announced the closure of all schools from Monday 23 March due to the coronavirus pandemic. The staff at Gateway School have been working closely with our colleagues across the Bellevue Group of schools to proactively ensure all the virtual learning tools are in place to allow continuity of education for our pupils and all pupils across the group.

Updated government advice meant the school re-opened for pupils in Preschool, Reception and Years 1 and 6 at the start of June. From the middle of June, other year groups are returning on certain weeks. The rest of our year groups continue to be educated through our Google Classrooms.

We will ensure to update our school community regularly.
