Nursery at Gateway School

Our Nursery gives children aged two to four years, and their parents, the best possible introduction to education and school - far more than just nursery childcare.

With the option of term-time or year-round provision, children can come into Nursery from 8am to 6pm to offer families added flexibility around their busy schedules.

Our experienced and caring team, including a qualified teacher, use carefully planned activities to create a nurturing, stimulating and playful environment, fostering independence and creativity in our young learners.

We have our own purpose-built home on the school site, but also get to make use of the other facilities including the tennis courts, fields and gym. The children love exploring their own garden, woodland area and mud kitchen, as well as eating chef-cooked food from the school's kitchen!

Why Gateway?

Gateway School is a warm, family-feel community where every child is celebrated for their individuality and known to all.

Our Nursery is the first step into education at Gateway School providing the same holistic learning experiences for our youngest children as can be seen throughout the school as we prepare them for their life beyond Gateway.

Aside from encouraging and inspiring every pupil to reach their potential across the curriculum, we also seek to help them discover their talents and nurture these too.

Nestled in the heart of the Chiltern Hills in the beautiful village of Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire, Gateway School is perfectly situated on the outskirts of London for families looking for easy access to the city whilst enjoying a life in the country.

With Great Missenden train station a short walk away from our doorstep, the school is close to excellent transport networks for parents needing to consider their commute into the city.

Fees

Preschool all-inclusive fee per day	£790
Preschool 1 morning up to 13:15 pm (including lunch and care):	£485

Our fees include text books and materials, lunches, day trips, before and after school clubs and care and Personal Accident Insurance. Fees are due on or before the first day of term.

Wraparound Care

We offer both term-time or year-round provision for our families to offer an education for children all year.

With wraparound care available from 8am to 6pm, you can rest assured that your children are being cared for by teachers they are familiar with.
