Preschool enjoy plenty of sport and sunshine

We’ve had another very busy week in Preschool; full of sunshine and sport! Our sports day was a huge success this week. It was a pleasure to see children participating in each activity, trying their best and collecting lots of stickers! They really made Preschool proud with the way they followed instructions and helped each other. Thank you if you managed to make it on the day, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

We welcomed back Mrs Sutton this week who has returned from maternity leave and has spent much of the week with us in Preschool. We are very happy to have Mrs Sutton back in our early years team and we all look forward to working together again in September.

In French lessons this week, children have enjoyed learning about the Tour de France including key facts about the famous cycling event, colouring and labeling pictures of bikes and cyclists. Children have also enjoyed our continued discussion around the World Cup and we have been keeping our fingers crossed for the England team!

As the summer holidays are upon us, we have sent home an optional summer pack full of ideas, colouring and learning activities for each child. We would love to see some photos of the children enjoying their holidays when we return in September.

It’s hard to believe that it’s our last Preschool newsletter of the school year! We have had such a brilliant year teaching wonderful children. We wish all the transition children the very best in their new Reception classes. We hope you all have a happy, healthy and safe summer holiday with lots of sunshine and memory-making. We look forward to seeing you all again in September.
