Preschool children have a busy start to the term
It has been a busy start to the term in Preschool. The children have been settling back into the routine well and have been playing lots of circle games to encourage friendships. As the children have begun to settle we are starting to find out about their individual personalities and their interests. Cars, trains, treasure hunts and role play have been a few favourites throughout free play sessions. Free play is a vital experience through which children learn social, conceptual and creative skills, as well as increasing their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
In Preschool we endeavour to incorporate the children’s individual interests into our planning. It would be lovely to see some photos on Tapestry about what your child has been doing at home. This will help the staff plan challenging and enjoyable experiences for your child that has a meaning to them. If you are experiencing difficulties with logging on to Tapestry, please inform one of the Preschool team.
