Year 1 - time flies when you're having fun

Time has flown during our last full week of term. The children have used their handmade clocks to tell the time in maths. We have talked about the routine of our day and allocated times to them. We learnt that we all get up at similar times and that we have lunch at midday when we are at school. We have been sequencing the months of the year and learning to spell them.

Our Easter preparations have started, we have been learning about reading instructions and followed some to make Easter baskets in hope that the Easter bunny will visit. We hope you enjoy your weekend especially Sunday! Next week we will be writing our own instructions using bossy verbs.
