Year 4 bring machines to life in drama

After a restful holiday, Year 4 have wasted no time getting stuck into their learning this term. Our topic on natural disasters has had us discussing the structure of the earth (which is quite a lot like an apple, if you cut it in half) and how the movement of tectonic plates helped shape the world as it is today. In English, we have been busy studying the features of explanation texts and have created our own to describe an unknown machine’s purpose. It was then especially fun working together in drama to bring some of these machines to life. You can see what we came up with in the photos.
