Year 4 find the Vikings’ place in time

Year 4 have fully immersed themselves in their new topic of the Vikings and have already impressed their teachers with what they already know. This week, we looked at timelines and how it can be useful to organise key periods of history in the order in which they happened. After much discussion, we then looked at some key events during the Viking era and made timelines of our own. This helped us to see the rise and fall of the Vikings over time. We will be looking at some of the events on the timeline in more detail in the lessons to follow.
