Year 5 - Collaborating online

Children in Year 5 have been using Padlet, an intuitive online collaboration tool. Following live Google Meets, they are given the opportunity to share their ideas on the discussion board. Children can collaborate in a variety of ways including; image, audio and visual. Recently, we have used Padlet to deepen understanding about character and plot development using our class text, ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’ as a stimulus. This has proven to be a fantastic platform to enhance engagement with discussion material, and for children and teachers to collectively celebrate the progress made in lessons. What a wonderful way for children to demonstrate their understanding and showcase their growing set of IT skills!
