Year 5 develop their reasoning skills

The children in Year 5 have been busy this week learning to read, write, order and compare numbers up to one million. In order to aid understanding, they have used concrete objects and pictorial representations to represent large numbers. A particular focus this week has been developing reasoning skills through a range of problem-solving tasks.
