Year 5 - honing sports skills

After a well earned half term, Year 5 have had a brilliant start back to school! We have been so impressed with how they have taken everything in their stride and have adjusted to the new rules and procedures around the school. During PE, the pupils have come back to the exciting return of Rugby! Mr Carey has been working alongside our rugby coach, Mr Hill this week. The pupils have found the return of the sport extremely fun and have enjoyed working hard to remember all the skills which they have learnt before. On the hockey pitch, the children have been working to improve their skills for our house hockey competition that is coming up at the end of term! We are really making the most of all of the training time we have in lessons with the absence of fixtures, so the pupils are all feeling ready for the event.
