Year 5 write their own African tales
This week, Year 5 have been writing their own African tales. They have read and learnt lots of stories of this genre this half term and are now very familiar with their features. These stories often include wild African animals, good and bad characters, rewards and punishments and magic. They can also be rather gory! The children planned and wrote stories that would seem authentically African and yet be their own original ideas. They have been made into a lovely book which will be shared with Y3 after the half term holiday. Well done Year 5 - I’ve loved reading these stories and the morals have taught me how I should behave!
