Year 6 - Creating Google Sites

In Computing this term, Year 6 have been learning about Google Sites. Google Sites allows the pupils to quickly and easily create and design their own website which, when ‘published’, will be viewable to pupils across the Gateway School network.

After getting to grips with the basic controls, the students then spent some time brainstorming ideas that might interest children across the school. In groups, the pupils are now working on sites about keeping happy during lockdown, writing, baking/cookery, cars/tech and student news. When ready, the Sites will be launched for all to view.
