Year 6 - the changing role of women
For some children, deciding what you want to be when you grow up, is a challenging question but how would you feel if you were told that only boys could choose the job you would like?
If you are a girl then you can only get married and look after the household. What would your response be?
For much of History, this was the reality for women. Year Six have been taking a look at the role of women, their rights and responsibilities from Ancient Times to the Renaissance and onwards. They have considered how rights and responsibilities have changed and continue to do so.
Take a look at some of the work they have produced.
