Dear Parents
As from 13 December new legislation comes into effect requiring food business to have available allergen information on the food they produce. In this case this refers to the recipes we help the children and adults to make at our cookery school or out in location at schools. Please be aware that the following allergens may be used in some of the recipes used at the cookery school:
Celery,
cereals containing gluten,
crustaceans,
eggs,
fish,
lupin,
milk,
molluscs,
mustard,
nuts,
peanuts,
sesame seeds,
soya,
sulphur dioxide.
While we avoid ingredients and recipes which include the use of nuts, peanuts and sesame seeds in line with Gateway School policy if children are attending workshops and classes with us outside of Gateway School premises these allergens may be used.
If you have any questions regarding which allergens we use please contact us.
Yours sincerely,
Beverley Glock
