An early ‘Joyeuses Pâques!’ (Happy Easter) from Year 6

So many different things have been going on at Gateway lately and the Year 6s have been engaging in them all. The ‘busy bees’ have been loving their Take One Picture activities… singing songs, writing arguments, performing rap battles, making boats and laser printed skyscrapers, and researching family history… to name but a few!

In MFL, having produced and sung a French song based on the ‘Fairytale of New York’ for T.O.P., the Year 6s are now turning their attentions to their French pen pals. They have been tasked with preparing a second letter for their pen pals, telling them a little more detail about themselves. It will include French language to describe themselves and tell their pen pals a lot more about some of their favourite things, such as sports, school subjects, books, films, music, food and drink. They are also creating Easter cards to send along with their letters. ‘Joyeuses Pâques!’
