Bellevue Hockey Tournament - Tuesday 7th March 2017
10th March 2017
The U11 girls attended a Bellevue Hockey Tournament hosted by Weston Green School on Tuesday 7th March. The girls were excited to be playing Hockey again as they hadn’t played since before Christmas. They got off to a great start with an early goal and continued to go from strength to strength winning their first match. The girls played against 5 schools and were undefeated. They won 3 games and drew 2. The competition then went on to finals. As we finished 2nd place in the group stages we were playing against Skippers Hill playing for 1st place. The final game was very close remaining 0-0 for the majority of the match. In the last few minutes Skippers Hill got a late goal and won the match. It was a great shame that we didn’t win the tournament but an excellent achievement to have finished in 2nd place. Well done girls!!
