ESSA South East Division Individual Championships Friday 28 November

On Friday 28 November Chantel O and Jessica C represented Gateway in the ESSA South East Division Individual Championships. This is always a very difficult competition open only to pupils reaching a certain level of speed officially recorded by outside swimming clubs.

Both girls enjoyed the gala immensely and gave their best throughout. The official results are not yet recorded on the website but we believe that the following results are to be confirmed.

Chantel 4th in Individual Medley (with a personal best time.)

4th in Breaststroke (with a personal best time.)

6th in Backstroke

Jessica recorded personal best times in the Individual Medley as well as equalling her times in both Back and breaststroke.

Well done to both girls for their effort on behalf of the school.
