EYU - what are we doing today?
6th May 2016
This week EYU have enjoyed sharing their favourite books as part of Book Week. We managed to read all of the books that the children brought in. We hope you are enjoying reading 'Our Daily Activities' board. The 'What are we doing today?' train has been introduced to the older children in preparation for Reception. We aim to plan all of our activities based on the children's interests and would therefore like you to email in any interest your child currently has. This will be displayed on our interests and planning wheel and will allow us to individualise the activities that we plan. We spend lots of time outside in EYU so it is really important that the children have an 8 hour cream applied each morning and have a named sun hat in their drawer.
Next week we will be investigating capacity. If you have plastic containers you would like to donate, we would be very grateful. All shapes and sizes welcome! We will also be finding totals using our adding machine in the EYU garden. We will also be looking at our local environment next week. We will be talking about trips that we have been on so if you have any photos, please bring them in.
