EYU children enjoy Autumn walk

What a beautiful day for an Autumnal walk down to Great Missenden. The children searched for conkers and observed the changes that Autumn brings. James said, “The conkers have hatched!”. We were so proud of how the children took care of each other pointing out the stinging nettles and helping each other find conkers that we rewarded them with a Babycino at Costa Coffee! Sophie, Sebastian, Tushaan, Noah, Daisy and Mikhail sat by the window counting the cars. There was great excitement when an ambulance went by with its lights flashing. Other activities this week have included making shortbread, visiting the library, playing basketball and tennis on the courts, Physical Phonics in the school hall and watching a hot air balloon fly over school.
