EYU children prepare for Easter

Along with enjoying some lovely Spring weather, we have participated in lots of Easter activities. The children have learnt about the process of changing state by melting chocolate and watching it harden as they made Easter nests, decorating their own Easter baskets and cards and playing Easter bingo! We will be continuing Easter activities next week and looking at the Easter story.

On Friday we have seen lots of red, white and blue and fantastic sports outfits for Sport Relief. While we donned our trainers... well wellies ready for the run on the field and were very pleased with our valiant efforts. Well done EYU!

Next Wednesday we will be participating in activities to celebrate the Hindu Festival of Holi a festival of Spring. In the afternoon weather permitting it could become very messy as we participate in the tradition of paint throwing!
