EYU children think about others
13th November 2015
This week in EYU, the children amazed us with how sensible they are when we joined in with the whole school Armistice Day Assembly. They observed the two minute silence and listened to two poems read by the older children. Back in the classroom, the children participated in activities such as, making a poppy wreath, finger painting a field of poppies and colouring in their own poppy. The children listened to the 'Children in Need' song for this year. We talked about children less fortunate than us and what we could do to help raise money. Well done to Alexander and Lewis for raising £200 to dress up as 'Super Pudsey' for the day. They have also been busy baking and decorating Pudsey biscuits for all of their EYU friends. Yummy!
Now the weather is on the turn, please make sure your child has waterproofs and wellies in school every day.
