EYU children's imaginations run wild!
27th November 2015
This week the children's imaginations have been allowed to run wild! We have used the outside space to act out stories; working together to think of exciting characters and invigorating story lines. The children have been looking at how a story is structured and talking about the beginning, middle and ending. During circle time, Miss 'Storyteller' Piotrowski engaged the children in a storytelling activity encouraging turn-taking, listening and attention, and encouraging descriptive vocabulary.
Rehearsals are well under way for the production of the year, and we look forward to welcoming you next Friday 4th December at 10am in the School Hall. Those children who do not normally attend on a Friday should arrive in EYU at 9.30am wearing their costume.
We are going to attempt to tier the seating so that everyone gets the chance to see their child perform. We would kindly ask that if you wish to stand, you do so on the stage blocks at the back of the hall. You are welcome to take your children home after the play. We will dismiss from EYU and would ask you to wait on the patio for your child as usual. Don't forget your tissues!
