EYU enjoy Football Coaching

EYU have begun to focus on the World Cup and for the next three weeks we will be participating in lots of activities including designing our own football shirt, looking at the countries on the map and talking about their flags, listening to national anthems and learning the World Cup song.

On Tuesday 10th and Friday 13th June, EYU had a visit from a football coach - Adam. Throughout the sessions the children played lots of games that concentrate on their ABCs (Agility, Balance and Coordination); This included games with and without a football, to help bring out these fundamental skills.

The children also participated in games that included balancing, walking, jumping, sprinting, hand-eye coordination, colour coordination and numbers. The children listened well to the instructions and the games were enjoyed by all.
