EYU look at different styles of books

This week the children have been looking at different styles of books. We have read a number of information books, discussing the contents page, glossary and captions. Some of the children made their own information books. Ellie wrote about pets and Max wrote about washing hands after handling pets.

Harry brought in a fictional book that he had made at home that he shared with the other children. We discussed how it had a beginning, middle and ending.

Sports day was a success and the weather held out for the children. We would like to thank all the children for taking part and demonstrating strong sportsmanship.
