EYU loved its new Gruffalo stickers

There have been many highlights this week. Mrs Szulc caused all manner of excitement by decorating the EYU toilets with bright Gruffalo characters stickers making it a much more enjoyable experience! The children have been making human number lines in the EYU garden and investigated building a wall using the pretend bricks in the ‘building site’ area. We have introduced Bertie Bear to the children. Bertie Bear will be looked after by different EYU children throughout the year. The children discussed the best way to look after Bertie Bear. Freddie said “You need to cuddle him”. Elsie said “You can dress him up all day”. Bonnie said “You need to brush his teeth and fur”. Bertie Bear’s adventures will be displayed in the classroom.

If your child has had an adventure of their own, feel free to send in a photo or leaflet for them to share with their group. Please can your child only bring in one pocket sized toy into school. Large toys can be a distraction. Thank you for your help with this!
