EYU make alien carrots and vegetable people

EYU have been sharing their favourite stories this week.

On Monday we went on a Bear Hunt and found the bear hiding in the farmer's field. The children had great fun re-enacting the story, swishing through the grass and squelching through the mud! The purpose of this activity was to introduce the children to rhythm and rhyme. When we returned to the classroom we retold the story using musical instruments.

Our imagination has run wild with the children making alien carrots and vegetable people and animals as we celebrated Harvest Festival.

Next week we will be continuing our 'All About Me' theme with us thinking about our birthdays, and what makes us special.
