EYU welcome lots of newcomers
11th September 2015
This week we have welcomed many new children and their families into EYU and welcomed back lots of current smiley children. They are doing a fabulous job at getting to grips with the daily routines. On Tuesday afternoon, we walked down to Great Missenden library to enjoy some new books. We have enjoyed reading ‘The Rainbow Fish’. The children have been talking about what makes EYU a happy place. Ellie said that kindness makes the classroom happy. Max said that having fun laughing with his friends makes EYU a happy place. On Friday Mrs Szulc started to make playdough in the garden with the children. We had lots of fun measuring, mixing, pouring and getting our hands dirty kneading the mixture. The children had so much fun that we decided to experiment by adding different ingredients to change the colour and texture. Jack and Harriett added lots of water and made a ‘cake mix’. Noah and Finn mixed sand into the pink playdoh and made some rhubarb custard.
