Football report - Gateway U10 v Our Lady's Amersham

On Tuesday 14 October Gateway Year 5 played their first football match of the season in the Under 10 Cup. The game was played at Magnolia Park and was against Our Lady’s School, Amersham. We came away with a good result - a 6-0 win! Our goal scorers were Brandon: with an amazing 4 goals; Cormac with a tidy strike into the net and Sam made it 6 with a lovely shot. Our Lady’s put up a good fight, especially in the second half, but we managed to keep a clean sheet. Hector came on outfield and made a difference, making some nice runs down the left Guy and Alex looked very strong at the back, putting in some nice tackles. Gateway were happy with their result and look forward to their next game. Thanks to the parents for all your support.
