Gateway Staff benefit from Institute of Education training session

Teaching staff from Gateway School started the new academic year with a training workshop supported by the Institute of Education, the largest and most highly rated teaching college in the country.

The staff INSET session explored best practice in teaching, with focus on the importance of involving children in their own learning.

Staff had the opportunity to collaborate with their colleagues and to develop and share ideas, which are already being applied in the classrooms at Gateway, to benefit pupils this term.
