House Art Competition

This month is ‘The Big Draw’; the world's biggest drawing festival with thousands of enjoyable drawing activities arranged around the country. Anyone can participate; the aim is to ‘get people drawing’ (www.thebigdraw.org). This year Gateway is holding our own ‘Big Draw’ in the form of a ‘House Art’ Competition.

During the week commencing 2nd November, the Art Department will be working with each class, from Reception to Year 6, to produce drawings based upon the theme of ‘birds’.

We are inviting the owner of the Gallery on the High Street and hopefully a head of Art from one of the local secondary schools to judge a ‘House’ winner from each year group. The ‘House’ being awarded the most prizes will be declared the winner!
