Ninety children participated for their house football team, in years 4, 5 and 6.

Year 6 braved icy conditions at Magnolia Park, in January, to kick off the House Football Competition. Despite the final scores in some matches there were some very close fought games that could have gone either way, if teams had scored more of the opportunities they created. It was pleasing to see how all the children got involved and influenced the games with their passing, tackling, shooting and determination.

The Year 5 competition also took place in bitter conditions and, thankfully, the hail fell just as the tournament ended. It was a close and evenly contested affair and Brunel would have fared better had all their players remembered their shin-pads and boots!
