ISA Netball Tournament - Friday 3rd March 2017

The U11 girls went to the ISA Netball Tournament on Friday 3rd March. There were 22 schools that attended and only 3 qualify for the National Finals. Gateway got off to an excellent start showing outstanding passing, shooting and movement. They won all of their games in the group stage and even won one game 16-0!! We then went through to the quarter finals and won 8-0. In the semi finals we played against Gatehouse who we had already beaten in the group stages. It was a tough match with numerous interceptions being made. Unfortunately Gatehouse got a late goal just before the whistle to win the match. The girls were obviously devastated as our chance of going to the Nationals was slipping away after doing so well. We had one last game for 3rd or 4th place. If we won this last match we would qualify for the Nationals. The girls put everything they had into the last game and managed to win 4-2. We were all delighted and cannot wait to attend the National Finals in Peterborough on the 25th March.
