ISA North London Finals, Cross Country - Wednesday 9 February 2016
26th February 2016
Twenty four children from Years 3 to 6 were selected to run at Bedford in the ISA North London cross country finals. Conditions were surprisingly good for this event, a little chilly with just the odd quagmire to be negotiated along the course. The under 9 boys and girls competed over a course of 1300m and the under 11 girls and boys ran 1900m. There were over a 100 runners in each race.
The top 3 runners in each race received medals and the team event was calculated by adding the scores of the top four runners, from each race, to give a school total. In all of the races the top ten finisher qualified to represent London North in the National ISA Finals, Princethorpe College, (Saturday 27th February).

There were some truly inspirational runs during the afternoon’s competition and this squad can be really proud of the tremendous effort they put in. Those parents and relatives who travelled to support the children were full of praise for the determination witnessed throughout the squad.
Good Luck to Georgia M, Cormac N, Oakley D, Wil St -B who run tomorrow in the National Finals at Princethorpe; unfortunately George C is unavailable, as he is in France. HJ
