ISA Swimming Gala - Monday 15 October 2018

Seventeen boys and girls from Years 4 to 6 made the journey to Barnet Copthall Swimming Pool for the London North ISA Regional Swim Gala. From the outset the children were both excited and nervous as they knew the competition would be tough. All of the Gateway swimmers did the school extremely proud by producing competitive swims over 50 metres (which is a longer distance than many of them are used to). When the scores were announced, it was magnificent to hear that Gateway had won four bronze medals including two for Danica F who had won her heat in the front crawl. Will T and Jack S were the other medallists in the Y6 Butterfly and Y5 Breastroke respectively.
