Music Tea
29th March 2019

On Monday, we had our second music tea of the term. This concert was used to showcase some of our younger instrumental and vocal groups - Junior Choir, violin group, Ukelele group and Trumpet club, as well as a selection of soloists. All of these groups have been working really hard over the past term and it was great opportunity to hear what they have achieved. Over 60 children took part and the hall was packed to the rafters with a very supportive audience! I was so impressed by the energy and enthusiasm displayed by many of the performers and particularly enjoyed watching the wonderful facial expression of the children in Junior Choir.
This was the first time some of the children taking part had performed in front of an audience, which can be quite daunting, but everyone overcame their nerves and played brilliantly. Congratulations to all the performers who took part and thank you to all the parents who came to watch - your applause was greatly appreciated.
