Music Tea
28th May 2021

Fifteen musicians celebrated their music making on Tuesday evening in our Summer Term Music Tea. It was so lovely to hear the children playing so confidently - we were treated to a whole range of instruments and musical styles from Purcell to 'The Flintstones'. For a few of the children, it was the first time that they had played in front of an audience so this was an important milestone in their musical journey. All of the children overcame their initial nerves and played brilliantly to their peers. As ever, it was a very good opportunity for the children who are beginners to hear more accomplished instrumentalists - a perfect way to encourage and inspire. What a talented bunch of musicians we have here at Gateway School. Well done to everyone who took part - you were all brilliant! Parents were not able to support in person, but we videoed the concert. We're really hoping to be able to welcome parents to our next concert, at the end of June.
