Musical performances
23rd March 2018

We’ve had another musical week this week. On Monday evening Chamber Choir took part in the Bellevue Southern Schools Music Festival at the Hammond Theatre in Hampton, along with seven other schools from the Bellevue group. The children reprised the two songs they sang at the Royal Festival Hall last Monday and afterwards we were enchanted by a violin solo, played by Eleanor in Year 6 – a movement from a violin concerto by Seitz.
Watch the performances, below.

The children sang a varied and colourful toe tapping programme full of vigour and energy directed by Mr Mitchener at the piano. Diction was clear, movements were slick and faces were expressive. The audience clearly enjoyed the performance judging on the smiling faces and applause.
What a fitting end to what has been an exciting and busy term in the music department.
