Nursery children become 'little chefs' and prepare dinner

All the children's hard work and efforts with our 'Take One Picture' project has payed off. The children were mesmerised whilst looking at all the wonderful work in the exhibition. As we walked in the hall Liberty's first word was 'amazing'!

This week we have continued to talk about healthy eating and explore healthy and unhealthy foods. The children have been learning about the food pyramid, looking at size potions and food types such as carbohydrates. A lot of discussion was had between the children as they became 'little chefs' preparing dinner with foods from different food groups.

We have been talking about growing vegetables and the children have helped to plant carrots. We would like to see any of your gardening photos on Tapestry!

Next week Nursery will be continuing with gardening and activities focusing on Spring and growing.
