Nursery children enjoy Diwali celebrations

Nursery has enjoyed joining in with Diwali celebrations this week. We listened to a Diwali story and made Diwali cards. Dhiren told us about his own family’s celebrations.

There was lots of excitement and lovely pictures of the children dressed up for Halloween. Liberty showed us pictures of the pumpkins she had grown from seed and then carved into lanterns.

We finished the week by talking about November the 5th firework and bonfire safety.

The children had great fun splattering paint and glitter onto paper, to make a large scale firework display in the outside garden.
