Nursery children enjoy a great Sports Day

We hope you all enjoyed Sports day on Tuesday. We thought your children were all amazing!

We have begun to talk about moving on and transitions into Reception, new schools and groups, in preparation for the moving up day next week.

The children have listened to the story 'Lucky Wish Mouse Starting School' and shared their own thoughts, ideas and feelings. There was lots of discussion about their new schools and talked about similarities and differences between Nursery and Reception.

This lead us onto exploring and recognising our feelings relating that to how we actually feel. We will be continuing with this next week. We will also be setting up a role play area to resemble a school, playing the role of a teacher and pupils!

As the end of term is approaching, we are beginning to organise a leavers party, which will be held on Tuesday 11th July. Invitations will be sent out for the children next week, so please check your child's drawer for this. All the children will be welcome to attend.
