Leavers' Destinations
Children at Gateway School undertake exams for the Buckinghamshire Grammar School transfer test and local Independent Schools. We are proud that the majority of pupils receive offers from their preferred senior school. This high success rate is attributed to the academic journey and the positive partnerships between parents and staff, in identifying the schools that holistically best fit the children

✨ Back to School at Gateway! ✨
What a fantastic first day we had today. From our youngest Preschoolers settling in beautifully, to our Year 6 pupils stepping into their final year of Prep, the energy across the school was fantastic.
Highlights included:
🎓 Pre-Reception children making the big step up into Reception
💫 An uplifting assembly from Mr Coke, reminding us of our ASPIRE values
🙌 Our new Head Boy and Head Girl delivering beautiful welcome speeches
🔑 Year 6 pupils enjoying the responsibility of leading the school (and visiting our youngest learners)
🎒 The excitement of lockers for the very first time
⚽ Pupils straight back out on the sports courts
💛 Welcoming almost 50 new families into our Gateway community

🐊✨ What a Roald Dahl Day! 📚💫
🐊From being greeted by the Enormous Crocodile at the door(aka Headteacher Mr Coke), to teachers popping up as their favourite characters in assembly as a surprise (Mr Lloyd’s Bruce Bogtrotter had everyone laughing 🍫), the whole day was bursting with Dahl-inspired fun!
🌟Lessons were full of Roald Dahl magic and, just when the children thought the story was over, the Enormous Crocodile returned at home time with a phizz-whizzing surprise treat
🎁🐊A splendiferous day of joy, laughter and imagination-thanks to our gloriumptious staff!
