Nursery children transform into teachers

Nursery children transform into teachers

The Nursery children have transformed into teachers over the past week. They have set up their own school and have been taking the register, teaching each other how to write their names and using number flashcards to teach maths! The Gateway uniform has encouraged the children to role play being the pupils in the school, many were delighted to put on the uniform and didn't want to change back!

The move up day for the older children was a huge success, the children were delighted to spend the morning with Mrs Sutton and had lots to say when they came back to Nursery.

We have a fun few days to look forward to and preparations are underway for our end of year party, tomorrow afternoon from 2.00 pm until 3.30 pm. All the children are invited and if it is not your child's usual day please bring them along at 2 pm. We invite you back at 3 pm to hear the children perform some of their favourites songs that they have learnt in music and to say goodbye to the children leaving us.

We will be sending home all your children's belongings before the end of term. There will be a table with lost property on, please look through this if you are missing anything.

Please note that late care will not be running on Wednesday afternoon.

All the Nursery team wish to thank you for your support throughout the year and hope you all have a fun and enjoyable summer break and we look forward to seeing you in September.
