Nursery enjoy a very colourful week

We have had a very colourful week in Nursery. Lots of mess was made whilst learning about the festival 'Holi'. The children have been learning about primary colours and discovering what happens when two colours are mixed. We worked together as a whole class to create a big Holi circle.

The younger children have shown a keen interest in babies and always love to see younger siblings come into the Nursery, especially baby Matthew! We set up a baby role play area where the children have taken on a caring role, pretending to be a family.

Comparing each other's height has been a popular activity with the children. They have been finding out who is the 'tallest' and 'shortest' and have been measuring their teddies!

Next week we will be finding about zoo animals as lots of children have recently visited the zoo. If you have any pictures of your child at the zoo we would love to see them on Tapestry.
