Nursery look at different forms of transport

It’s been lovely to welcome the children back after the Christmas break and hear all about your family festivities.

We are pleased that Nursery have had some new children join us and warmly welcome, Henry, David, Isaac, Sienna, Ben, Ella and their families.

The children have been busy this week participating in different activities around the theme of transport. We have been size ordering different forms of transport using words such as big, bigger, biggest and small, smaller and smallest.The children have enjoyed helping to make traffic light jelly and learning about traffics lights and what the colours mean.

After a trip to Great Missenden library the children brought back many transport books to look at. They used them for reference when making transport pictures out of shapes.

Next week will be continuing with our transport theme. At home you may like to explore different modes of transport with your children.
