PE Department - Captain Tom Circuit 100
14th May 2021

Last week, the PE department set up a number of challenges to raise awareness of the Captain Tom Foundation. Such is the busy nature of the school timetable, we were unable to find one specific day that all of the children from Reception through to Year 6 could participate but we managed to schedule them all across the week.
There were a variety of different physical skills that were required to reach 100 including accuracy of throw, hand/eye coordination and agility. Some of the activities required the children to reach 100 on their own whilst others saw them working as a part of a larger group to reach the goal but all were challenging nonetheless. It didn’t quite go as planned for Year 1 though, as a heavy rainstorm meant that they were forced inside. However, they were not to be outdone and proceeded to complete 100 repetitions of 10 different fitness moves.
Well done to everyone who took part.
