Active Gateway Live

The Active Gateway Live series concluded with Mr Roberts leading lively sessions that were themed around Netball and Basketball. It has been brilliant to see the Gateway community embracing these opportunities to get active together more and more as the weeks have passed. Year 3/4 parents have just edged it in terms of the number of participants but we are hugely grateful to everyone at home who has taken part, being active with your children really sets a positive example. Thank you and well done. Regular updates on this and all Sport and PE related topics can be found on Twitter using the handle @gateway2sport.

Travel to Tokyo Challenge

The Travel to Tokyo Challenge appears to have enthused many within the Gateway community and the total distance that we have travelled as a school reflects that. The house competition element appears to have added extra spark and although Jenner have made a very fast start we are now moving into the stage where consistency is important after the initial surge so a resurgence from another house is certainly possible. Here are the distances as of Friday morning:

Barnado 11,793km

Brunel 8,102km

Jenner 13,567km

Seacole 11,194km

Don't forget to log any physical activity that you do as a family, as long as a Gateway pupil participates fully in it. Regular updates on this and all Sport and PE related topics can be found on Twitter using the handle @gateway2sport.
