PE Department News
26th March 2021
It has been a long time since many of the children have had the opportunity to experience competitive sport so this week was a real treat for Years 3 to 6 who took part in House Football tournaments. House matches offer a safe environment for the children to participate in an organised competition without the pressures of playing against children they don't know and only having their Sport and PE teachers on the sidelines.
All four of the tournaments were naturally competitive and also enabled us to help the children consider the importance of skills such as resilience and respecting others. There was some excellent football played in all of the tournaments and the winners were as follows:
Year 3 - Jenner
Year 4 - Seacole
Year 5 - TBC
Year 6 - Seacole
Well done to everyone who represented their house with such effort and determination.
